Seussical the Musical......Again!!!

One of the fun parts of having the girls one year apart is seeing the same concerts repeated.  Didn't we just watch Seussical last year??????  Just kidding!  We love to see our girls perform!  Even if we know it by heart!  :)  Aslynn and the Second Grade performed last night  their last concert for this year.  Aslynn does a very good job of using expression and movement in her performance.  Such a hoot to watch!!!!  Love her!

Daniel Went to Camp!

Daniel went to his first overnight camp this year for school.  All sixth grade goes.......He had a great experience at Glen Helen in Yellow Springs, OH.  Great weather, too!!!  Warm for March!!!!!  He was gone from Tuesday-Friday!  Sure was quiet around here without him!  We missed him!

Aslynn & Ava turn 9 & 10!!!!!

Mom broke down this year and let the girls have a small friend party to help celebrate their birthdays.  Since the girls' birthdays are about a week apart, we let each girl choose three friends to come have a "Drive-In Movie" party at our house.  I borrowed a cute idea I found on Pinterest where you have the kids design and decorate their "cars" out of big boxes, use tickets to buy concessions at our homemade concession stand, etc.  We Had a great time in our basement, designing, decorating, eating, and watching "Puss in Boots."  Pretty easy and inexpensive way to enjoy a party!  We all had a great time!!!!!
