Congrats to Derek!

Derek was honored at the academic awards program the other night. He received his academic letter and a special lantern of knowledge patch for having such a high GPA! We are very proud of him!

Pumpkin Pics!!!!!!!!!!!

Always have to share some cute pumpkin pics! Both girls had separate field trips to pumpkin patches this year, so I have had it up to here with pumpkins!!!!! :) Aslynn had her first official bus ride on a school bus. How fun! Ava painted her own shirt at school. We teased her that they may mistake her for one of the jack-o-lanterns at the patch with her missing teeth! What a beautiful time of year!

You heard me. I have pics to share, stories to tell, etc., but I have not sat down and made this a priority lately. Was able to put a few pics from Jeff's wedding on, but I have yet to figure out how to splice a couple video clips and put them on my next post. I will try this weekend. We are all doing fine, despite the busy lives we lead. I know how sad I am to go to someone else's blog and not see anything new. I am one of those "disappointers!" Some of my family and friends are excellent at posting once a day. I don't get that yet! Probably never will. :) But, I can do better. Please be patient.............................

Better late than never to share the pictures from this most beautiful day we spent in Miami a few weeks ago. Two very special people had a beautiful wedding ceremony this day. Paul and I were very lucky to be able to spend the weekend and taking part in this union. Our kids stayed home with a very brave babysitter (thanks, Rachel!). We were able to enjoy some leisure time on the beach, seeing relatives, and relaxing a little. We are so happy for Jeff and Kristen. They will have great memories about their special day. Congratulations!
