Watch out, Hillary Clinton!

Just had to share pictures and video of Daniel giving his John F. Kennedy speech at school today! He looked so handsome. Much more handsome than JFK, in my opinion! They wrote and put together these speeches on their own at school. Paul got to go to the school this morning and watch the presentations and record it for me to see! If you can go to this link, you should be able to watch the video (maybe you'll have to copy and paste). Enjoy!

Clarification!

The top 3 pictures on the latest report are not Ava and Aslynn, but they are Ava and her best friend, Ellie! Some have been confusing Ellie for Aslynn. Aslynn is pictured later with her dad and by herself on her Gotcha Day! Just wanted to clear up any confusion the pictures were causing!

What a month it has been!

Wow.....................February flew by for us! We have celebrated two "Gotcha Days" this month. For those of you scratching your heads wondering what new Hallmark holiday you might have forgotten, that is the day we "Got" each girl in China. The first day we saw and got to hold our precious daughters! It is amazing that it has been three years for Aslynn, and now one year for Ava. We are truly thankful to God for giving us these precious girls (along with our boys) to raise and love.
Earlier this month, Ava was blessed with the opportunity to see her best friend from her orphanage since they parted ways last February. Ellie was adopted by a family in Oregon, but we are so thanful they have relatives to visit in Texas! Ellie's family drove up from Houston to spend two days, letting the girls get reacquainted and play! They had a blast and were inseparable the entire time! It was so great to see the closeness they still have, even though they have not seen each other or been able to communicate to each other this past year. We are so thankful they got this opportunity, and we plan on keeping their relationship special!
Paul celebrated his birthday, along with Chinese New Year, at P.F. Changs! We got to celebrate with Paul's brother, nephew, and niece. We ate way too much and had a great time!
Many of you are having real weather issues this month, and I have to brag just this once, that it is BEAUTIFUL and WARM and SUNNY this week in Texas. :) I can say that since the weather has been the worst Texas winter in awhile and has not been the weather we had been hoping for up to this point. The kids wore shorts to school today. Don't think they ever could do that in Ohio!
Well, I have to run, but I promised a few that I would do my best to update this blog. I have two birthdays coming up in the next couple weeks, so I should be able to add more soon! We love and miss you all!
