Aren't we BEAUTIFUL!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

What a pair!!!!!!! The girls got their first crack at being flowergirls in their cousin, Jenee's wedding Thanksgiving weekend. They enjoyed being pampered (getting their hair done, getting lots of attention, and getting a present for being in the wedding). Since pictures and the ceremony were in the middle of naptime, they DID get tired, and one even had a few tears going down the aisle, but they, of course, got their "second wind" by reception time. Food can rejuvenate the body! The girls loved "cutting the rug" at the reception! They partied until they literally dropped! They are so thankful Jenee and Ryan asked them to be a part of this special day! It will be a forever memory! The girls did look amazingly beautiful! It was good to see family after just moving to TX, too. We now know why Dorothy blew away in the tornado in "The Wizard of Oz." Kansas, and quite frankly, most of the areas between Dallas and Omaha literally are just wide open spaces! In Kansas, there were places that as far as your eyes could see, there was nothing but blank land....not even a tree. Not very many places to stop and potty or eat either!!!!! :) We are safely home now, and trying to pick up where we left off, unpacking and finding a routine! Kind of hard to do during the Christmas season, but we will do our best!

Times are Changing!

As most of you are aware, our family has moved to Texas this past month. Paul took a job with his brother, Phil, in the Dallas area (Fate/Rockwall) in his company called Design Masterpiece Landscaping, Inc. Paul is managing the business. Paul came to Texas in mid-September, while the rest of us waited back in Ohio. It didn't take long to decide to move the whole family down there as soon as possible. On Nov. 6, the big Allied moving truck came and loaded us up. We left for our new home the following day! Paul picked us out a GREAT house, which we are still trying to settle. The weather here has been sweet, UNTIL today! What luck to wake up to 30's and freezing rain! They are acting like the end times are HERE! :) Should warm back up soon! The boys have settled right into their new school. They attend Grace Hartman Elementary. Next year, due to different attendance zones, they may be changing to another school in the district. They both like their teachers. Derek enjoys having a locker and changing rooms/teachers for all of his classes. Derek is starting basketball tonight (maybe not) with Lake Pointe Church sports ministries. The girls are currently on a waiting list for preschool which should open up after Christmas. They can't wait! Our new address is:
