Look at me now!!!!!!!

Our agency director is over in Hunan right now on a trip, and he was able to spend a few hours with our sweetie! Here she is wearing her new coat and sweater from mommy and daddy and family. She also is holding her new Care Bear. She is growing up way too fast! She already has changed so much. Our director said she is lovely in person. She is bigger than we thought. The stuff we sent was 3T, and in the shots he took, they are not too big! She has been attending a "kindergarten" during the day, which they say has been helping her verbal skills, etc. We were glad she has had that opportunity. She goes with 3 other little girls from the orphanage. We still don't know what date our dossier got logged into the system over there, which makes it difficult to predict when our travel approval may come. It has been there since Oct. 13. Hopefully it was logged in by the end of the month. Usually after that, it takes about two months or so to get travel approval. Praying to get her soon!!!!!!!! She has a very close friend, who is also being adopted around the same time. We have been so fortunate to get to know through email the parents of this little girl. They live in Oregon and are very interested in keeping the girls in touch! How fun!!!! Having the holdiays helps pass the time, but please pray that everything goes as smooth as possible. Thanks so much!

The wait continues!

We were so blessed to receive in the mail a video of our newest sweetie, taken back in January by our agency director. How wonderful it was to see her personality and to see her with her friends. What a great keepsake this will be for her. Along with the video, we got several pictures of her orphanage and caretakers on cd. Of course the pictures with our sweetie in them are our favorites, but again, these are precious to have, especially if we do not get a chance to visit her orphanage in China.

We also were blessed to receive an update on Friday of Xiao E's measurements, etc., which gives us a better idea of what clothes to bring and how she seems to be doing at present.

These 3 little girls seem to be close friends. I've heard there is a 4th friend, and we think we picked her out in the video we got. The little girl on the far right (as you look at it), is also getting adopted soon. We have been able to be in contact with her new family in Oregon. They are great people and are very interested in keeping these girls in contact with each other as they grow up. How cool is that?

Our agency director is probably going to be traveling to Hunan in the next few weeks, so we may get some updated pictures then! He has agreed to take a few things to our daughter, such as a coat, sweater, and a Care Bear!

We are waiting to hear when our papers were actually logged in, so we can get a better idea of when we may be able to travel. Sometimes, families never find out when their papers were logged in, and just get that travel approval one day! We just want that paper as soon as possible!!!! The Office that goes through the paperwork is rumored to be moving this month, which could make a delay in this, so please pray with us that we will be satisfied with God's timing! So hard!!!
