No Travel Approval Yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, no travel approval yet means no travel until February! Because Chinese New Year falls at the end of January, we would not be able to get a consulate appointment or be in our daughter's province for enough business days to process everything. We are incredibly bummed about this, but we have to look at the big picture and see that there is a reason God wants us to wait to go. Hopefully, we will receive travel approval before things shut down for Chinese New Year, and we can get appointments to travel as soon as things open back up! We are so anxious to go! Continue to remember us as we count down days to hear word of approval to come!

This just in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just received word from our agency that our dossier was logged into the CCAA on Oct. 31, 2005..........GREAT!!!! Our official countdown really started then. One whole month of our wait is already done! The average wait for travel approval after your log in date is usually 2 months+. Actually the average has been a little longer lately (more like 2.5 months), but I think there was a bit of a slow down in September. Thankfully with the busy Christmas season, the second month of our wait should go by quickly!

The picture posted is of our sweetie with her good friend, who is also being adopted soon. Her family is right behind us in their journey! They look so happy together! Please pray for them, as separating will be hard! Aren't they beautiful??????
