SPRING BREAK!!!!!

The Wetzels jumped in the van on Friday after school and work and started out to Florida for spring break and a much needed vacation. Yes.....we DROVE all the way to Florida! The kids are excellent travelers, so we can't complain. It IS long to sit the whole time! :) We enjoyed a week at Paul's sister's house in Melbourne. We relaxed a bunch, got to see some of their boys' activities, play at the beach, EAT, and more. We drove back Saturday and Sunday. Got home just in time to go to bed for school the next morning! I'm exhausted just typing about it! No, we did not adopt two more little sweeties from China. These beauties are Ava and Aslynn sporting their new short haircuts! We did that on vacation, too! It was getting a little crazy with all the hair, and we are in the ever so fun process of growing out the bangs, so we decided to go for it! They like it! They really do look cute.
It is back to work this week for Paul, back to school and sports for the kids, and back to everything else for me. Thought I would throw a few pics on here for everyone. I am going to add a short clip of the kids (including our nephews) playing at the beach. Can't really hear anything, especially with the waves, but it is fun to see anyway. Here's the link:

Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays............and a Play!

Lots of fun so far in March! We celebrated the girls' birthdays between their two special days, as they are only a week apart. We had a princess/castle theme going this year (per the girls' request). The chose a cake with Cinderella and the Prince. We had a good time of food and fellowship with our immediate family and Uncle Phil and Cousin Ryan. The girls got many nice things! As you can see, our car insurance is about to go up. We have two more women drivers to put on the policy! What fun we have driving the jeep around! Now, if mom can remember to keep it charged! Thanks to all of you who sent the girls presents and cards to remember their special days.

Daniel was the "Star" of his school/class play "the Legend of Lightning Larry." He was Larry! Got to wear cool cowboy clothes and be a ham in front of an audience. You all know we love to do that in this house! He was complimented on having the best Texas accent (and he even comes from Ohio)! He did a great job! We had to decorate a life-size cowboy to decorate the classroom. Daniel and Paul had loads of fun putting him together. Good thing they did a good job, as we had no idea they would be putting on the front of the set for the play!

Thought you all would enjoy the pics especially!
Here are a couple videos of the girls celebrating on their actual birthdays (not our BIG party!)
